MechaGodzilla (メカゴジラ, lit. MekaGojira) is an alien kaiju/mecha that was constructed by the Hive. It first appeared in Godzilla vs. Mukozilla III, Part 1 - World Collision.

Name Edit

MechaGodzilla's name comes from the Japanese word mecha (メカ, lit. Meka), and Godzilla's Japanese name, Gojira (ゴジラ).

Design Edit

MechaGodzilla's design is identical to it's 1975 design from Terror of MechaGodzilla.

During certan flashback scenes, however, showcase the Magnificent Machine in it's 1974 design from the original Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla.

History Edit

Pre-trilogy Edit

MechaGodzilla was first constructed in 1974 by the Spacemen from the Third Planet of the Black Hole, or the Simeons. It was sent to Earth to conquer the planet. However, Godzilla, who was in his anti-hero phase at the time, attacked and destroyed MechaGodzilla, ending the invasion.

Powers: Finger, toe, and knee missiles, chest laser, laser vision, flamethrower nostrils, force-field generated by spinning head, had can also rotate 180 degrees to face enemies in beck, can fly at speeds of Mach 3.

  • The original MechaGodzilla's technology was used as the basis for several other mecha, including Kiryu, Argus, and M.O.G.U.E.R.A.,`as well as being used to reconstruct the original robot.
  • MechaGodzilla can outwrestle most kaiju, and even mecha, including Anguirus, Baragon, Titanosaurus, Kiryu, and Dynamo.
  • MechaGodzilla is the third most powerful monster in the Hive forces, right behind King Ghidorah and SpaceGodzilla.
